How to Get Started

If this is the first time you work on a custom designed project, we want to ensure you are comfortable with the process, so here are some details on how we bring your project to life.

Discussing Your Vision

The process begins with an in-person or phone consultation meeting to discuss your personal style and vision for your stationery. During this first meeting, we will discuss your ideas, budget, quantities and time frame in order to set goals and printing timelines for the project.

For this first meeting, we ask that you bring us everything that inspires you including fabric swatches, floral arrangements, colour samples, etc. Use Pinterest to Pin invitation samples you like and tell us why you like them i.e. colour, fonts, wording, layout, paper stock, etc.


Once you are confident we have a good understanding of your vision, we will send you a quote for the project. Our pricing includes the design of two initial concepts, three rounds of revisions, materials required, printing and assembly.

A signed copy of the quote will serve as a contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required to begin design. The remaining balance of 50% will be due prior to the project being sent to print.

Information Submission

In order to begin the design process, we will require your basic information and wording. CLICK HERE to complete and submit our Invitation Wording Form. Don’t have all the details just yet? Not a problem! Please provide what you can at this time.

Design & Review

Based on the direction and vision you shared in our previous meetings, we will develop and send you two custom concepts in the form of a PDF to e-mail address you’ve provided. From these initial concepts, you will review and determine the design direction you would like us to take.

Revisions & Approval

Once you’ve selected your preferred concept, you can begin providing feedback and revisions for the design and wording. A total of three rounds of revisions will be provided until you are completely satisfied with the finished product. The final proof will be sent as a PDF to the e-mail provided. A reply to this e-mail with your approval will complete the design process.

Please Note*** When you receive a copy of your final proof, we ask that you carefully review spelling of first and last names, dates and times, street addresses and locations, spacing and typographical errors. Green Leaf Weddings & Events is not responsible for any errors after a file has been approved for printing.

Printing & Delivery

Once you have approved the final proof, the remaining balance of the order will be required to queue the order to print. Once the order is assembled and complete, you will receive an order completion e-mail to determine pick-up or delivery.
